Robert's career began at Marshalls (E.A) Ltd as an Accounts Assistant, where he perfected his skills in ledger reconciliation and internal branch transfer processing. He then moved to Coca-Cola (Kisii Bottlers Ltd) where he spent nearly seven years rising through the ranks from Accountant to Cost Accountant and then to Management Accountant. At Coca-Cola, Robert streamlined invoicing and collections, reducing accounts receivable days by 15%, achieved 99% data accuracy in payroll and statutory filings, and led cost-saving initiatives that reduced departmental expenses by 12%. He also oversaw inventory reconciliations, improving accuracy by 25%, and collaborated with IT to enhance reporting systems, cutting report generation time by 30%.
Robert then joined Yu Mobile Ltd as Business Development Lead, where he prepared comprehensive financial and management reports that improved decision-making clarity for senior management.
